O blessed Lord, but Thee.

And soon in solemn oneness,
The river must be passed;
But Thou wilt never leave me,
And though the waves roll high,

若沒主裏的交通和秘密的安息，
這變幻的人生是何等孤單可怕！
沒你我實在不能，無其他朋友能
知我靈深處渴求和滿足它所需；
絕無一人能進入我靈的隱密處，
惟獨我親愛救主能使安憩舒暢。
沒你我實在不能，歲月快速飛逝，
死河必需要渡過，莊嚴時刻快臨；
波濤雖高漲翻騰，我主永不離我，
我知你必在我旁，且微聲說“是我”。
