Illusive, visionary, Thou the one reality!

Show me Thy face, I shall forget the weary days of yore,
The fretting ghosts of vain regret shall haunt my soul no more.
All doubts and fears for future years in quiet rest subside,
And nought but blest content and calm within my breast reside.

Show me Thy face, the heaviest cross will then seem light to bear,
There will be gain in every loss, and peace with every care.
With such light feet the years will fleet, life seem as brief as blest,
Till I have laid my burden down, and entered into rest.

求顯你臉，我將忘記往昔疲勞日子，
虛榮哀惜所致煩擾不再纏繞我靈，
前途憂懼疑惑全失，在平靜安息中，

一切損失皆成利益，憂慮帶來平安，
以後年日輕快溜過，短暫如蒙祝福，
直至放下一切重擔，進入永遠安息。
